 'Yess!!! I'm finally done xDD Urgh. That background damn near killed my computer D; I'm serious. About half-way through trying to think of an background I almost smashed my computer to pieces in frustration. And it still looks weird D; I have to learn to do background ;-; Any tips, anyone? They'd be much appreciated. Actually... I was really liking how this piece was turning out until I started on the background. I rather like this style of coloring and may stick to it for a time. This is some commission work for Mightelove737, on Gaia. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. critiques...
1. Her foot bothers me--there seems to be an abnormal lump
2. The top of the pitchfork isn't really joined so that it is centered on the staff.
(it can probably be fixed by moving the fork part up and rotating it a bit)
3. Proportions-her arms are different lengths and look like they are positioned quite uncomfortably
Hmm. Yeah. My mum noticed a lot of that as well :/ The foot bother me too xD But I really have no idea how to fix it... Any suggestions??

on the foot I think that the bottom chunk can be deleted altogether and then the foot will be seen as lying with the toes pointing behind her and the sole of her foot facing up. or you could try redrawing and looking at references or studying by posing in front of the mirror xD
